The best thing about this tasty tangy trout recipe is that it takes less than 15 minutes to make!
Trout is packed full DHA, an essential fatty acid for brain, eye and heart health. It’s also an excellent source of protein and vitamins including A, B12 and D.
A great dish to help nourish your little ones!
Prep Time: 2 mins
Baking Time: 10 – 12 mins
- Fresh trout
- Sea Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh herbs
- Preheat oven to 375 C
- Place the trout in a baking dish
- Season with a dash of sea salt, some fresh cracked black pepper, a bit of crushed garlic, capers, and any fresh herbs (I like dill, but coriander, chives and parsley are all good options)
- Lay a few slices of lemon on top and bake for 10 -12 minutes depending on size
- Serve with energy-rich sides (leftovers!) like quinoa, my fried rice dish or squash and some crunchy broccoli for a delicious and nourishing meal!
